HPCNow! is looking for a passionate and very proactive CAE HPC Expert to join our team. Job functions include teaming with HPC support and R&D staff to answer user questions and solve technical problems by telephone, email, and onsite. Tasks include interactive issue troubleshooting, following client issues through to resolution, documenting resolutions in a knowledge base, working with application and system owners or supporters to identify advanced solutions, installing and configuring applications, and studying and improving the application’s performance.
Eligible to live and/or work in Spain.
Skills and Experience
Minimum five years of experience in Linux and HPC environments,
Strong skills in end-user support and architecture in HPC Cluster for CAE purposes,
Fast learning and a strong interest in learning new technologies,
Excellent oral and written English skills,
Experience developing technical training and documentation.
Hands-on experience with CAE applications in an HPC environment,
Strong expertise with Slurm,
Experience with containers,
Knowledge of Bright Cluster Manager,
Knowledge of version control and pipelines (Github, etc.),
Knowledge of VDI integration with HPC clusters,
Experience with BeeGFS and NAS storages,
C, Python and Fortran basic skills.
