NAG is seeking two experienced senior level leaders to join our Board as Non-Executive Directors.

About the role

To support our strategic aims and objectives, we’re looking for two individuals with a background in Financial Services (buy or sell side) or High Performance Computing and specific experience taking new innovative technical products to market.

Your responsibilities will include;

  • Working with our Board of Directors and Executive Team to set the strategic direction of our organisation
  • Ensuring adherence to standards of corporate governance appropriate to our organizational size
  • Developing and managing relationships and communicating with key stakeholders, including NAG members.
  • Advocating for our organization
  • Evaluating and critically reviewing complex information and contributing to sound and impartial decision-making

There is also the possibility of chairing one of the Board sub-committees such as Finance, Audit and Risk.

About you

We are looking for individuals with strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to collaboration and some experience in M&A.  You should be a good networker with excellent diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating positive relationships and building consensus.

You should also have excellent written and oral communication skills, high standards of personal integrity and a thorough understanding of fiduciary duties and corporate governance.

Benefits

This is a remunerated NED position for an initial period of three years (but not to exceed eight years).  The Board meets quarterly either virtually or at our offices in Oxford and, depending on your location, may require an overnight stay at times. We expect a total time contribution of around 12 days per annum.
