Call for Submissions

We are inviting applications to present at the 5th Annual CIUK Women in HPC (WHPC) Breakfast. This is a unique opportunity for students and early-career professionals to showcase their work through a poster session and 2-minute lightning talk.

What are we looking for?

The submissions require an abstract with a maximum of 1000 characters. Submitted poster proposals will be thoughtfully reviewed by the CIUK WHPC Volunteer Committee.

Poster topics can encompass a wide range of themes, from technical to non-technical subjects. Examples include early research and projects, reproducibility, career experiences, diversity and inclusion in HPC, and more. If you are passionate about supercomputing and eager to share your research or ideas, this is your chance to gain recognition and expand your professional network.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications from early-career researchers either currently enrolled in undergraduate to PhD programs at UK or EU institutions as well as those in the first 5 years of their career. (Please note, we welcome those who have transitioned into our field or have returned after a career break as part of this submission.)

  • Notification of Acceptance: 4 November
