Women in HPC release ISC23 events schedule
The Women in HPC (WHPC) Volunteer Committee for ISC23 are pleased to announce a complete in-person events schedule for this year’s conference at the CCH in Hamburg, Germany.
In keeping with our continued drive towards greater inclusivity within the High Performance Computing community we are thrilled that this year the ISC Committee has offered us the opportunity to host events which are available to all general passes of Exhibition and above.
May 22, 2023 – WHPC takes over the Exhibitor Forum!
During the Exhibitor Gala, which takes place from 6:30 – 8:30 PM, the WHPC volunteers, alongside of our Supporters and Early Career speakers, will be taking over the Exhibitor Forum. This event will feature talks from many of our current leadership and welcomes an opportunity for the next generation of female leadership to present their work. Drop by and listen to our talks, meet some of our incredible volunteers and leaders, and support our upcoming talent! We’ll also be giving away our coveted Diversity Day shirts.
May 23, 2023 – Diversity Day and WHPC Early Career Poster Session + Reception
Celebrate Diversity at ISC23 with Women in HPC! This all-day event is a great chance to show your support for Women in HPC and all the other underrepresented groups that are working towards greater equity in HPC and STEM. This year’s Diversity Day highlight will take place in Foyer D-G from 3:30 – 5:30 PM – Celebrating Early Career Poster Authors at ISC! This event is 100% informal to attend and will be a great opportunity to meet and network with our community.
Remember, these events are open to all those with an Exhibition Pass or higher who are attending the conference in-person. Register now to lock in the best pricing.
Support for these events come from the incredible institutions BeeGFS, Alces Flight, AWS, DoITNow, HPE, and Google Cloud. We’d also like to thank our team of volunteers, as well as the ISC Committee, who has graciously offered up the time and space for us to showcase our talented women.
