The Department of IT Infrastructure is looking for a Scientific Employee – Group leader High Performance Computing (f/m/d).
Your tasks
Technical leadership of the “High Performance Computing” group
Operation and further development of services in the HPC environment
Support for internal and external users regarding HPC codes and applications
Collaboration with national and international project partners
Your profile
Completed university studies (Master/Diploma/PhD) in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Science or Engineering or related field
Several years’ professional experience in the specified area
Experience in the field of high-performance computing
In-depth knowledge of Linux server administration, HPC, and parallel storage systems
Knowledge of using and programming parallel algorithms using MPI and CUDA
Knowledge of installing, optimizing, and benchmarking scientific applications on HPC systems
Fluent in spoken and written German and English
