SC23 – Early Career Speaking Opportunities Closing Soon… Travel Fellowships Announced!
The finale of submissions to the SC23 (Supercomputing) Conference series taking place in Denver, CO, USA this November is coming soon. Included in the mix is a fantastic speaking opportunity for those early in their HPC careers. Taking place at the Women in HPC Workshop on November 13, 2023, the Early Career session is a chance for those in underrepresented communities to take the stage and shine a light on their work in the field. Those accepted into this session will have the opportunity to be mentored as well as have the support of one of the most welcoming and uplifting communities around.
Thanks to our new WHPC Champion, DoITNow! we are also pleased to launch our travel fellowships. Designed specifically for our Early Career speakers, two fellowships of £3,000 will be awarded to successful authors. To apply to the fellowship you must first submit your abstract to our workshop. Successful authors will be invited to apply to the scheme, which consists of a short statement. This statement, along with the abstract, will be averaged and the highest scores will be offered the fellowship!
Our most recent winners can be found here – and if you want to see a wonderful interview on the fellowship – check out HPCWire’s ISC23 coverage from May 22, 2023.
Be sure to get your abstract in by August 4, 2023 August 18, 2023. All the details can be found on our workshop event site!
See you in Denver!
