Join the Women in HPC – UK Chapters – at the ARCHER2 Celebration of Science!
Women in HPC are hosting a satellite event, Diversity in Science, at the ARCHER2 Celebration of Science! We welcome anyone who is curious or interested in learning about the value of Diversity in Science and connecting with likeminded individuals. Join us on Friday 8th March, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, for interactive discussions, networking and nibbles.
Learn about WHPC and our mission
Eleanor Broadway (EPCC) and Jenny Wong (2i2c) will kick off the session by introducing the WHPC organisation, introducing some key diversity concepts, sharing their experience and showcasing how to get involved with the WHPC community. They will also discuss the topic of fostering Diversity in Science and the value of encouraging and promoting inclusivity in the workplace.
Interactive session
The introduction to diversity in science will directly lead into an interactive session where we want to hear from you. What does diversity look like in your workplace? How would you like to see it improve? What strategies can we implement? Your views are invaluable and will help shape how WHPC can better serve the community and future events.
This event is a great opportunity to form connections, share meaningful insights and to contribute to enriching Diversity in Science!
